The 9x12m Cheese Tent is the smallest in our cheese range and the tent most Kenyan community events are built around. Allow a clear ground area of about 11m x 14m. The structure is the traditional peg-and-pole design: a twin-pitch canvas roof carried on centre poles and held by guy ropes pegged well out from the walls, which is why the ground allowance is generous. The cover is heavy-duty canvas rather than lightweight PVC, so it is heavier, more durable and better at cutting direct sun than a thin cover. Wide entry points at either end keep guests moving in and out without a bottleneck. Setup takes about two hours. It anchors on soil and grass, which suits open ground, school fields and church compounds. Suitable for and crusades, school events and prize-givings, community meetings and barazas and fundraisers and memorial services, family gatherings and all kinds of parties in Nairobi. Same-day delivery and professional setup by our expert crew are quoted by location and tent size. Please note: cheese tents are not waterproof and are best suited to dry, sunny occasions. For events during the rainy season, or where rain is likely, we recommend a high peak or B Line Pagoda tent instead — tell us your date and we will advise.
